The vague Bretonian light settles on the cadmium render, worked by countless generations.
Here the light is young.
Here the fingerprints whisper their stories.
Here I am afraid to look in for fear some greater history will look back.

Two Dimentional Architecture Series. Another of the red house taken at St Fagans Museum of Welsh Life, South Wales

"details as the raw material for abstract photographic compositions has become one os the most deadening clichés of today´s photography of architecture" - Robert Elwall in Building with Light.
Its at "St. Fagins, Museum Of Welsh Life", near Cardiff (South coast of Wales, UK)...EXOTIC huh! Its an outdoor museum consisting of various vernacular buildings from all over Wales that have been dismantled and rebuild in one place to preserve them. This is one particular stone house that is painted what is now (through weathering and age) a rather strange shade of rose... but it photographs fantastically... THE POWER OF FILM! :D

I like this, I don't know why, but maybe it the boldness of the colour and the stark contrast of the window...maybe it's because my family room is red! lol You have an exquiste gallery and I'm so happy to have come across it.
