Taken Inthe Able Tasman National Park, NZ. A short distance from "Ethnicity Of Sands" [link] in fact.

On a beach strew with cracked shells and debris, one rock pillar stands strong agains the tides. Clinging to its crown is a twin trunked tree, its few roots gripping, vise-like, to the rocks surface.
